I recently had Sundance Energy Services perform a furnace cleaning and inspection at my home. I had noticed the smell of gas near my furnace, and being in the insurance business, wanted to be sure everything was safe.

During the inspection and cleaning the service technician discovered a burn-through in the heat exchanger of my furnace. I then had Sundance install a new high efficiency replacement furnace.

Much to my surprise, after the new installation, I noticed that waking up in the morning was much easier! It appears that I had been a victim of carbon monoxide poisoning. I then realized why I was groggy and tired when my alarm clock went off in the mornings.

I highly recommend that people have their furnaces cleaned and inspected regularly. It has been explained to me that this preventative maintenance can save your furnace and your life!
